It's park & picnic season!!! Spring is here :)🌺🌻🍸🌞

Hello everyone, here comes another installment of where i like to read in London. And due to the absolutely gorgeous weather over the past week, i thought i would give you a list of my favourite parks to visit or sit and read in across London as when its this sunny there's no need to stay inside, gotta make the most of it considering we live in rainy, cloudy England. So yeah enjoy and let me know if you decide to check any of these out or have a favourite outdoor space to read.

Regents Park ⛅ I've been here on multiple occasions and its biggest positive is how large the park is. There are endless trees to sit under and park benches and secret secluded areas or large plains of grass. There is also variation in terms of shade and sun which is quite rare without bringing your own umbrella. What i love about regents park is how peaceful it is, now i know some people need complete silence to read, and at Regents park you rarely hear much disturbance. Due to its size a small problem is toilet facilities as they are available in the park but you will have to walk to them. Also make sure to pack food and drink because you have to walk for a while to reach your nearest super market. I do know there is a cafe but personally i have always bought my own picnic as i find this enjoyable and affordable. 7/10

Primrose Hill 🏞 This is one of those London locations that is idolized by the public and is always on the 10 places to visit in London lists and i have to agree its rather special. Not only is it a large hill in the middle of the city, the view is also breath taking. Perfect for a take away pizza and a bottle of wine. When i visited it was rather windy so make sure to consider what's happening with the weather before you venture out. The stroll from the tube station to the hill is also lovely as there are many cute cafes and boutiques. We checked out a few on the way back and it was a great browse. 8.5/10

Vauxhall Park🌲This park is a lot smaller than the previous two and is more broken up by cycle paths and roads, but still worth a visit. I went only this week and it was so lovely to lay outside and sunbathe. Once again i bought a picnic but the Tesco is not to fair away if you need to replenish throughout the day. For those that like a pub, The Black Dog, is a great location and for my fellow Swifties is perfect for some Taylor culture. There is also a small city farm containing some goats and alpacas and who doesn't want to see some farm animals on their day out.  6/10

Victoria Park 🌸 This is the local park to my house so i have frequented here quite often. It's once again quite a large park with loads of areas to explore. I have read here on multiple occasions and love sitting on the benches by the pond as the natural ambience is very peaceful. It also has another great pub called the Royal Inn on the park which is a great spot with outdoor seating and openness within the pub e.g. great windows which is weirdly important to me. This might be my favourite park in London which is most likely because its not as popular as some of the other spaces in this list. It's not as well known so you can be chilling on the open grass and barely see a soul which is idyllic. Also check out the market on Sunday mornings for some great food! 9.5/10

*Sadly i have no pics of Victoria Park, you'll just have to go and trust my word!*

Kew Gardens 🌿 This is a bit of rogue one because you do have to pay to visit the gardens, but on a summers day there is nothing like it. Adult tickets are priced at just under £25 with a student ticket coming in at a bargain of £11.50!!! I went with my mum last summer and it was honestly gorgeous. The gardens themselves accompanied by the sun and a good drink at one of the many cafes or restaurants is an unbeatable combo. There are greenhouses to explore and tree top walks and the whole time i was there i was just thinking how amazing it would be to sit and read all day all summer long. There's so many different areas to explore you can't do it in one day and i would happily go back and pay again and again. We also discovered whilst we were there that some of Bridgeton the queen charlotte series was filmed there. So yes you do have to pay but i think its completely justified. Also check out the gift shop while your there, amazing goodies. 9/10 (only because it isn't freeπŸ˜₯)
